Radio NOVA has announced preparations to run a charity Radiothon for youth homelessness in 2016. The Radiothon will be run in partnership with Focus Ireland and comes on the back of the radio stations 2015 Radiothon, which raised more than €30,000.

Radio NOVA has raised more than €30,000 in its 2015 ‘Help Homelessness Radiothon’. The money was donated entirely by listeners and businesses throughout Dublin, Kildare, Meath & Wicklow via telephone donations over two days of broadcasting in February 2015. Caroline Morahan teamed up with Radio NOVA yesterday to launch the station’s on-air ‘Help Homelessness Radiothon’ in aid of Focus Ireland’s work to tackle and prevent youth homelessness. NOVA is set to turn over its airwaves this Wednesday and Thursday as the Dublin-based station hopes to raise up to €25,000
